History

I was born in Brazil . I am a child of the sea.

Since I was a little girl, I have always had a love for colors and colors were the theme of my first essay.

Combinations of shades, fabrics, contrasts, overlays and plays of light have accompanied me throughout my adolescence, and were accomplices to one of my favourite childhood places, Bahia, ‘the last happy land in the world’ as defined Pierre Verger.

Hence I found the courage to set aside a promising career in Dentistry in order to fulfill my dream: to work with colors. It was a calling that I could no longer ignore.

To achieve this I moved to Paris where I had the opportunity to study at the prestigious fashion school Studio Berçot, under the protective wing of Marie Ruckie. During those years, which were some of the best in my life, I came into contact with fashion houses such as Chanel and Giorgio Armani.

I begun designing and producing for International luxury houses, who I am still collaborating with today. After the birth of my son I united heart and memory, and dedicated myself to creating cotton swimsuits for kids and my friends in Milan, and my love for swimsuits began.

Today I am the founder and creative director of Noodle and the mother of a teenage boy, three cats and a Dalmatian (all living together in harmony!). I am also a vegetarian by vocation and eco-conscious by choice.

Mood

For Noodle the sea is a choice of life.

The sea is free, ecological, welcoming, connecting, powerful and becoming.

Therefore the Noodle girl is a free soul. She is eco conscious, homely, connected with herself, the environment and with her emotions. She is continuously evolving and, just like a thread, she unwinds and extends herself across the world.

The Noodle girl wears the sea and takes it with her in her day to day life: she is “in the mood for Noodle”.
